MOBILE PATROL · AN OWL WATCH SERVICE

Mobile patrols, GPS-stamped and randomised.

Mobile patrol security with randomised visit times, checkpoint scans you can audit, and a written report after every patrol. Not a car that drives past.

A patrol is a sequence of checks.
Not a drive-by.

On arrival the officer scans in at a fixed checkpoint, works the run in the order set out in your site instructions, and scans out. Every scan is GPS-stamped and time-stamped, so the record shows where the officer stood and when.

THE RUN

What a patrol covers.

Set at the site walk and written into your site instructions, not left to the officer on the night.

01

Perimeter and fence line

Boundary walked, breaches and damage photographed and reported the same night.

02

Doors, gates and shutters

Every external door, roller shutter, boom and gate checked and secured where it can be.

03

Signs of entry or tampering

Forced locks, cut fencing, disturbed windows and anything that has moved since the last visit.

04

Lighting and safety faults

Failed lighting, blocked fire egress and hazards logged for your maintenance team.

05

Vehicles and people on site

Anything that should not be there, checked against your after-hours contractor list.

06

Plant, cold storage and amenities

Added to the run where your site needs it, including temperature and alarm panel checks.

RANDOMISED BY DESIGN

Predictable patrols stop working.

A mobile patrol that arrives at 11pm every night stops deterring anyone within a fortnight, because whoever is watching the site learns the gap. We randomise visit windows inside the frequency you pay for, so two visits a night means two visits, at times nobody can plan around.

Fixed times only where you need one, a shift changeover, a delivery window, a lock-up hour
Every other visit randomised inside the paid frequency
Arrival and departure times on every report, so you can audit the pattern yourself
ALSO INCLUDED

Three things most patrol contracts quietly leave out.

Lock-up and unlock

Arriving before your first staff member to disarm and open, and returning at close to check amenities, arm the system and confirm the set. Keys held in an audited safe against signature, with every movement logged.

Alarm response

An officer attends, determines whether it is a fault, a false trigger or an actual entry, and calls you either way. Where we monitor the alarm too, dispatch happens without waiting for you to answer the phone at 3am.

Proof you can audit

Arrival and departure times, every checkpoint scanned, what was found, what was done and photographs. Live in your portal the same night, not a PDF at the end of the month.

WHO USES THEM

Sites that cannot be left unattended.

Mobile patrol also runs alongside static guarding: a guard on post during trading hours, patrols overnight, one supervisor across both. Every officer is licensed and we operate to ASIAL industry standards.

Commercial and industrial estates

Overnight and weekend mobile patrol cover for estates where nobody is on site after close.

Construction and civil sites

Plant, materials and site sheds checked through the night and across long weekends.

Retail centres and precincts

Between trading hours, including tenancy shopfronts left unsecured after close.

Council depots and community facilities

Halls, sporting grounds, libraries and depots on a randomised overnight run.

Vacant property between tenancies

Squatting, vandalism and illegal dumping caught early rather than at handover.

Car parks and storage facilities

High-turnover sites where presence at unpredictable times is the whole deterrent.

FAQ

Mobile patrol questions.

If we have not covered it here, the control room answers around the clock on 1300 170 891.

Most commercial sites start at two and adjust after the first month, once the reports show when the site is actually exposed. A construction site during fit-out often needs three or four; a low-risk office park may be fine with one. We recommend a number after the site walk rather than before it.

Between fifteen and forty minutes depending on the size of the run and the number of checkpoints. Time on site appears in every report, so you can check it rather than take our word for it.

They do not enter. They secure a safe position, call police, call your nominated contact and stay on site until police or you arrive. The incident report follows within the hour.

Yes, in an audited key safe with signed custody. Every movement is logged against a named officer. Keys are returned or destroyed at the end of the contract with written confirmation.

Yes, and it is usually cheaper per site if they are geographically close, because the run can be built as a circuit. Multi-site portfolios get one supervisor and one consolidated report rather than a separate relationship per site.

Urgent metro patrols can usually start within 24 hours of the site walk. Regional and multi-site starts take longer, because we induct officers to the site before the first shift rather than after it.

Mobile patrol is priced per patrol, based on the size of the run, frequency and location. The site assessment and the quote are free, and the price we quote is the price on the invoice.

Yes, subject to distance from the nearest patrol vehicle. We will tell you honestly at the assessment if a site is too remote for a realistic response window rather than take the contract and disappoint you.
