Before you apply.

If it isn’t covered here, call and ask a person, the ops team answers around the clock.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

The bar, written down.

Cleaning and traffic roles have their own requirements, including a Construction White Card and state traffic control accreditation.

A licence, or the willingness to get one

A current security licence for the state you want to work in. If you are partway through, tell us where you are up to.

Clear, professional communication

Most of the job is talking to people, not confronting them. The officers who last are the ones who can defuse a situation with a sentence.

Reliability

Turning up on time, every rostered shift, is the whole job. Everything else can be taught.

Comfortable alone and in a crowd

Able to work by yourself at 3am and as part of a team at a five thousand person event.

Physically up to the duties

Including standing and walking for a full shift, in weather that is not always cooperative.

Willing to follow procedure exactly

Including the parts that seem unnecessary. Site procedure is usually written after something went wrong.

Consistent rosters, not scattered single shifts.

Supervisors who worked the same posts and answer the phone. Paid site induction before your first shift, not on it. Training toward licence renewals and additional endorsements. Work across four service lines, so a quiet period in one does not mean no hours. We review every application and reply either way, if there is nothing in your area right now we hold your details and contact you when there is, because our roster grows and shrinks with contracts.
